Siemens STEM Academy Webinar

(Image from Siemens STEM Academy.  All Rights Reserved.)
I  presented to a number of elementary and secondary teachers across the country two weeks ago as part of the Siemens STEM Academy Webinar series.  The web-based presentation, titled "Start Thinking in 3D: Google SketchUp," provided an overview of SketchUp's applications in the design fields, a demonstration of basic tools, and ideas on educational applications of the product.  It was a great group to present to, and a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to such a useful tool.  Thanks to Siemens STEM Academy and Discovery Education for sponsoring the presentation and allowing me to be part of it.  Hopefully there will be an opportunity for a second session showcasing even more advanced applications of the product.
