The University of Arizona's College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture's Landscape Lab was featured this month in Landscape Architecture Magazine. Designed by Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, the project tackles key issues of sustainability (including urban runoff, water use, urban habitat, and urban heat island), while serving as an inspiration and educational outdoor environment for CALA's undergraduate and graduate landscape architecture and architecture students. I had the pleasure of watching the project be installed in 2007, and have been blown away by how well it has performed over the past few years.
